Job Description

  • Sale of surplus available quantum of power. Look for opportunities in the Long / Medium / Short term Power Procurement Tenders, Study feasibility, Seeking necessary clarifications from the procurers, Market intelligence and Competitor analysis, Bid document preparation, Tariff calculation / tariff range for every opportunity and submission of bid(s); Sale of power through Power Exchange(s).
  • Operation of the PPA/ Contracts complying with the Regulations and compliances including the contractual provisions and statutory payments.
  • Open Access, Scheduling, Energy Verification and Invoicing and Reconciliation of Energy Accounts.
  • Receivables Management/ Timely collection of revenue from customers.
  • Market & Regulatory Intelligence: Understand and update on the Market Intelligence and the CERC Regulatory regimen and updates, Preparing views/comments on the drafts of the new Regulations/Policies issued from time to time.
  • Provide the necessary inputs & prepare a strategy to win the cases relating to disputes and in cases requiring adjudication.
  • Preparation for the approval of the tariff increase as per the Regulation and as per the contractual provision.
  • MIS Management Preparation and Presentation of MIS in respect of Sales regularly and as per timelines.
  • Coordination and maintaining a professional and healthy relationship with the Utilities, Statutory Bodies and other stakeholders.
