Qualification – BE/B.Tech ( Electrical)

• Planning of Preventive, Predictive, Major/Minor inspections and overhauling strategies for the Electrical systems.
• Testing of all the critical Protection relays of Generators, Transformers and transmission line. Especially SIEMENS platform like SIPROTEC 4&5- 7SA522, 7SD610,7UT62, 7UM62,7SJ62 and ABB REL 670 etc.
• Ensuring periodic calibration of Testing equipment.
• Preparation of Departmental MIS and IMS and other statutory audits like CEA Inspections. 
• Ensure that all Electrical maintenance staff strictly adhere to the established PTW procedure.
• Optimizing the planned outage time to do all the maintenance activities within the given time. 
• Planning of spares, procurement and follow-up of all Electrical Equipment’s 
• Liaising with government agencies and other 3rd parties on departmental requirements 
• Developing team by giving knowledge sharing and developing them in the area of work place management for better team building.
• Conducting periodical inspection/ testing of all the important relays of Generator, Transformers , transmission line , GIS and HT-LT switchgear to ensure all the protection systems are in place and effective. Especially Knowledge in SIEMENS platform like SIPROTEC 4 or 5 7SA522, 7SD610,7UT62, 7UM62,7SJ62 and ABB REL 670 etc.
• Ensure 100 % availability of critical/vital spares and effective tracking of EMD spares inventory and spares preservation.
• Effective implementation of safety standards, IMS and other statuary standards like CEA, POSOCO
