Qualification – BE/B.Tech ( Civil)
- Knowledge in review & correction of field construction drawings
- Estimation & preparation of BOQs for various Civil Construction activities, preparation of bar bending schedule
- Making proposals for new construction / repair & maintenance activities
- Carryout regular inspection of plant buildings, equipment foundations, ash pond, railway siding etc and ascertain the maintenance required
- Review of notifications and civil work request of other functions and take suitable action in consultation with HOD.
- Monitoring of Civil Maintenance activities for quality, timely completion and coordinate with local contractors.
- Thorough knowledge in Work Permit system and industrial EHS procedures
- Good knowledge in SAP & quick learning to SAP working systems.
- Monitor the plant green belt development, landscaping works & guide the subordinates with new ideas for implementation.
- Oversee Railway Maintenance, periodical inspection of track and its maintenance activities.
- Review, correct & maintain department IMS procedures & Documentation.
- Checking and certification of Contractor’s Invoices
- Knowledge in Budget preparation and tracking
- Co-ordinate with plant O&M Contractors for plant related civil works and provide necessary supports as and when required.
- Monitor & control quality of Civil works & CSR works.
- Knowledge in Auto Cad, knowledge in SAP, good written & verbal communication
